Juliane & Glenn were most gracious hosts. We felt very welcome in their beautiful home which is ideally situated to explore the scenic treats in the area.
The house is definitely 5 star, and is very private if privacy is what you are looking for. There are panoramic views over the bay from anywhere in the house.

Juliane planned out a great cross-section of wineries to visit. From an ultramodern winery with a great art exhibit, to a picturesque, small family-run tasting room (kiwis call them cellar doors) with sheep all around, the wineries we visited all had one thing in common – excellent wine.”
Glenn then led us on a ride the next day that had us saying “WOW” over and over. It was some of the most beautiful scenery we had ever seen. For a 24 mile ride, it contained most everything anyone would want to view on a ride: mountains, rivers, farms and beautiful vistas. The bikes were better than I expected and made the ride easy.

We thoroughly enjoyed the scenic backroads of NZ for the bike rides. You tailored the bike rides for our ability and made everything very easy. After a day of riding, it was nice to visit wineries and sample NZs delicious wines. At the end of each day it was always nice to come back to our beautiful room, relax on the deck and watch the ever-changing tide.
Glenn & Juliane, thank you for sharing your beautiful and comfortable home with us. Inspired by your knowledge and enthusiasm, in such a short time we were able to truly learn and live New Zealand!
